Seb Thrä delivers a track that is nothing short of phenomenal - from 7:40, it even turns into a rare emotional wonder. Those 13 minutes are an essential listen of one of today's most personal forms of "progressive" black metal - a maelstrom of unheard colors swirling crazily.
Seht is drowned into a compact lo-fi cloud of sound from which occasionally emerge a few cristalline sparks. A little ambient beauty for amateurs of sonic blur and some great moments that will require a good listening quality.

about

"2023 really is shaping us as the year of the splits for Trhä, with this one being the mage's fourth already this year, and this time gathering with Sëht, a project started recently, following on the footsteps of Trhä's lantern-irradiated path.

Similarly to Trhä's last split, with Starcave Nebula, the track here present is also much more guitar driven than most of the projects works recently, and shows again just how ridiculously inventive and creative Trhä can be. Quite honestly, this might just be my favorite Trhä track to date, starting off with a blazing Sanguine Relic-esque, Finnish-styled Black Metal riff, then through a pulsating, dancing and wobbling around you, transcending into a very Post-Hardcore/old school Screamo section, quite reminiscing with Damian's other project, Life. If the song is close to perfect so far, as it goes it only gets more insane, with killer, driving basslines, than returning to the orthodox, energetic and melancholic Black Metal parts, with the appearance of an incredible, intricate riff, quite resounding with Rostorchester and Antimessiah's guitarwork. The song then returns into Hardcore territory for a killer breakdown, only to erupt again with a wonderful melodic bridge, into an absurd fairy Math Rock riff that absolutely kills, before ending with a beautifully hypnotic section with dreamy poppish synthesizers prior to the desolate outro.

Sëht's work is quite similar to the projects debut. Delivering with a stronger presence of the synths, Sëht carves hypnotic and darker, lo-fi Atmospheric Black Metal, with some rather epic melodic lines and ethereal keys."
